i'm not sure why -- but this series, called drunk history had me laughing so hard, i cried.
the basic premise is that they get a comedian really drunk and then have them tell a historical story as best they can under the "circumstances".
the twist though, is that they then get fairly well known actors to act out the scenes in full historical garb and miming the story exactly as rendered from the drunk comedian.
it's kind of a weird premise but it works for me.
