the best show on wfmu is one of my favorite podcasts.
the humor, i believe, comes from the fact that it takes quite awhile to figure out why it is funny. if you start listening to it, make sure you get through at least three episodes or you will probably miss the point, which for me, comes from distinguishing the difference between deadpan comedy stage craft and reality.
a quote from a recent show that caused involuntary laughter on my part, "i know i could do a rock show, gimme five minutes, i'll melt the wig glue off your head with the rock show i'll throw together".
