what would happen?

imagine with the intensity of protests against america, what would happen if the u.s. was unable to find 'weapons of mass destruction' in iraq after this conflict. i think that it is unlikely to happen because most countries in the world have weapons that could be classified under that category.

it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

the problem as i see it, is that terrorists don't really need 'regimes' in order to unleash mass destruction on our country. it really only takes a small group willing to die in order to carry out the attack and, as we have seen, there are people like that.

so, i feel that this war against iraq will, in the end, make us no safer than we were prior to it. in fact, perhaps exactly the opposite. with world sentiment at an all time low, i think we have a hard rocky road ahead.
