so far, vista seems to be pretty good. lots of nice new functionality overall, such as bitlocker, which i am using on my new asus tablet.
one thing that puzzles me, unzipping a file is excruciatingly slow using the built-in unzip function.
a zip with 20,000 files in it said that it was going to take 4 hours to unzip.
i downloaded 7zip and the file took about a minute or two to unzip.
microsoft, why is that?
